found this nice one ,no price? 5k,10k,15k,
Sorry, but you must be a newbie to these classics. The cabriolet is in a totally different price ballpark than what you are looking at. Look on ebay for an indication of price.

I say unless you like working on old cars and can do everything yourself, do not buy the black car. I have found from my own experience in Australia (which admittedly is more expensive than the US) that it costs $2-3k to recommission a car that has been left idle for a long time. Seals are dry do things leak, fuel tanks full of rubbish, brake systems siezed, radiators corroded, rubbers perished etc etc. There seems to be cheap but good W108's pop up in the US that make restoring one yourself an economically daft proposition.

Now, let me get back to my 3 old classics that need restoring...

Agreed,if its been sitting for 20 years, most systems will be toast! but I do like a challenge! I do all my own work on my newer MB's,once I bought a 1956 Packard Patrician,it sat for a long time, had to go thru everything on that car, took one year for restoration by me,started as a turd and became a jewel! Think I'll pass on the brown one,the rust issues scare the hell out of me!
