Hello are there many W108/9 owners on here?

Hi there, Just it doesn't seem like there are alot of use W108/9 owners out there who get their hands dirty.. All the owners I spoke to at shows and local meets send them to a local garage..

so looking for a group of like minded car nuts.

here's my old girl

Ex Santa Cruz car and then I shipped it back to the UK England.

had some fun with the car and well.. some bad times also head went but she's back up and running again and I want to carry on the good work with her..

Great news. I like the new carpet.. I need to get a new drivers side rubber mat part as mine has all but rotted..

I see a 912 owner.. yhay!!! I have a few of those also.. I got my car in Norcal and I have to say I do like SF area.. I know a few guys around the bay area. Jim at Easy Por also great guy.

your car looks really nice I like the silver.. Mine is white and as much as I like the white I think another colour would really make it stand out more as a classic but white it is ..

Hence before I left the USA with the car I popped on a full set of white walls from Big O as they would be 3 times the cost at home!

should have popped one on the spare but I forgot and he only had 4 in at the time.

Great news to have a fellow W108 owner, there is so little of us in the UK it's almost abit of a joke, great cars but mainly owned by older owners who just have their garage do all the work which is a real shame.

1986 Jaguar XJS V12 Oh I get this totaly.. V12... great when they run! But when they dont

66 912 I got me one of those also

I bought my w108 as a total basket case and cobbled it together with parts from a w114 doner car all with my own two hands.

Actually my car is Horizon Blue. The lighting, or rather lack of it, washed out the color a bit. The grille insert is also body color along with the centers of the Bundt wheels.

arrr yes I can see it now you have pointed it out.. I like the idea on the wheels it's suttle I like that alot..

I am thinking of buying a set of those wheels for spare,I love my orginal wheel trims but having a set of those rims fully polished would look nice abit blingy but nice.

I might pull the trigger on a set I have seen that car quite sensible price on ebay.

I do my work myself, though there are some things that I'm not skilled at (engine work, for example). I've always enjoyed getting my hands dirty.

i do all the service on my 108 and the 109 .
The 280s /w108 is easy repair/maintenance as compared to the 3.5.
