help with w108 tail light connections

Something is screwed up in the lighting wiring in my '68 250S. Too many crazy things to go into right now (dash lights flash along with right turn signal, for one) but I've been trying to work it out and I think some of the wires on the tail light connectors may have gotten crossed. Neither had a cap on it when I got the car.
Can someone with the same tail lights please look at these pics and let me know if the wires are all in the right sockets? I've got my fingers crossed that this is the source of my problem.
Thanks!
Jay

I would start by pulling the wires from the left side connector and cleaning them up. It appears from the pic that they may have had some heat causing them to become over aquainted with each other. (shorting out may be a better description)
