Accelerating issues?? fuel filter? fuel pump?

Hello Benzworld,
I am experiencing an issue with my daily driver...When i accelerate from a stop light my car hesitates for a quick second then gets going. If the engine is cold the car will stall. It starts right up but i am trying to figure out what the issue could be.. any ideas or knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Ray

When was the last tuneup and what did it include?

Felicita e un bicchiere di vino con un panino.

For starters, I'd look at the fuel filter.

I'd recommend filling out your profile - year of car, model, etc.

Let us know what type of work was done on the last "tune up" and when it was performed. For me I was having some fuel issues of stalling at stop signs and losing power on the highway. Turns out for me, the strainer in the fuel tank was about 90 percent blocked with what looked like a type of clay. The tank also had some rust in it. After a fuel tank cleaning done at a radiatior shop, the car seems to be running like new. The only problem now is, we got hit with about 5 inches of snow and I'm not going to take her out until the roads are a little more cleaner.
