Restore not wreck

restore it to original don't wreck it with modern parts etc . Same amount of labour but the end result would be fantastic to see . We need to look after our history not Change it .:crybab y2:

The Nissan is one of the world's great engine/transmission so that is a righteous choice.
Paint it the original color, it will look amazing! Without metallic.

Nice to see someone agrees! I hope the car will be running by spring, summer at the latest.

As for the original color, I'm doing my best deepest color is that teal I mentioned, followed by one shade of maroon, and then a slightly different shade of maroon.

I've been so absorbed in refreshing the 500SE, that I've given this car little love in the last few weeks.

It's my understanding he'll using a VG although there is anothing wrong with the VQs...

Meh unless you are doing an RB30 build up like we do in NZ any set up you do with a 20-25 will be way to revvy for the style of car...
