WINTERIZING 250C

Hi, i will be storing the car in my un- heated garage. Im going to detail it this weekend then run some fuel stabilizer through the car and un hook the positve to the battery or i could leave the battery on, and put it on a tender (ctek 3300) then cover it. Anything i have missed.

I'd pull the battery and clean/treat the battery tray area. The 114's are notorious for rusting there. Leave the battery out. Get yourself a plastic battery box to store the battery. Most R.V./ boat supply stores have them.

Give the front and rear windscreen seals a good coating of a silicone preservative. Same for the trunk seal.

Put some extra air in the tyres, watch out for mice and other critters getting into the car of engine bay/air intake.

Put the car away warm (after an extended drive), so that there is no moisture in the oil.

Blow all the fuel in the lines back to the tank, including any you might have in the carb.
