1985 190e turn signals stoped withing

I have 1985 Mercedes 190e and i was driving home last night and the turn signals stoped working, everything else works, the hazards the brights, everything. I flip tge lever and nothing happens, is there any way to fix it with out taking the stearing wheel to get at the switch? And if so how hard is it to take off rhe wheel. If anyone can help it would be greatly appesated

combination relay contains the flasher unit

you may have a bad relay. it would be the N10 combination relay under the hood behind the fuse box. hope that helps!

Not that my car and yours are identical, but on my 108, my number 1 fuse had blown and the hazards stopped working. Perhaps something similar with yours?
