Shop recomendation needed

As my username might indicate, I'm a British car type. However, I maintain a fleet of collector cars for a fellow, and two of the cars are M/B's.

I need help with a 1969 280 SL.

This car has the Bosch mechanical fuel injection system, and it is giving some problems, that are beyond my scope of knowledge.

Can anyone recomend a shop that has a competant technician that can deal with this system? The car is located about 35 miles North of Barrie, Ontario, but it is mobile, so it could be driven to the shop. Obviously, the closer to Barrie the better.

I have already discuseed this with Barrie Fine Cars (the local dealer) and they didn't appear too interested in looking into the problem. The same is true of a couple of other shops "specializing" in European auto repairs.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome, did you have a look yet at the "recommended shops" section of the forum? Recommended Repair Shops - - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

Being listed there is no guarantee of quality of course, just someone's opinion, but maybe you will find a lead or two. Good luck (from a former Brit owner myself).
