The center dash clock on my 71 220d is not working - can these be repaired/replaced? Not something silly like a fuse to it or something?
The early clocks (non-quartz) have a fusible link inside them that burns out, probably due to some good reason. They can be repaired and I can NOT tell you how. But others can. The later clocks are quartz and they can't be repaired the same way, but they are more likely to work. Your car would have the non-quartz clock and the two clocks are interchangible.
