Rear Window Well Covering

Getting ready to put a stereo in my 76 240D but before I do that I wanted to replace the carpeting in the back window well. right now it matches the interior which is nice but even after a thorough cleaning I am not satisfied with how it looks.

Anyone have any suggestions of any precut materials or solutions that would look decent and fit back there?

Thanks again!

Auto upholstery shop is your best bet. You can glue the carpet to a thin bit of the perforated board to keep it flat and in place.

There's an online place called World Upholstery - I've used them on three cars now and have never had issues. They can match your carpet, assuming what's in there is original to the car.

Another option is to go to the local carpet shop - they carry all kinds of carpet types, including perhaps auto carpet.
