Good day gents.
A bit of an update. I checked the spark plugs again and they deliver the required spark. Moved on to the fuel, starting at the fuel pump, working, moved on to the fuel filter, getting petrol through, and then the mechanical fuel injector where i hit a dead end. It enters the mechanism but the "out" is where the problem comes in. I removed one of the pipes leaving the bosch fuel injector and gave it a crank and very little petrol came out. I then progressed to removing all the pipes and gave it another crank, still very little petrol came out from all six the "outlets". Its as if there the injector isnt building up pressure. Any advice on what to do from here on? How does the injector build up the pressured fuel that is delivered to the cylinders? Does it use a pump or what? I would rather not want to buy a new bosch injector so is there anything I can check and fix to get it working again? Could the pump be faulty, if there is one hehe, could that be the cause? Sorry gents I'm still learning, sorry if I sound stupid. I'm just so frustrated.
