Junkyard Find - W116 V8 TURBO S. California

Hi -

There's a 1974 116 SEL in the junkyard in Monrovia, California. It has a Rajay Industries turbo charger on it. The model is 301E10. Everything looks complete.

That's all I can tell you except that the car has a complete red interior and it's LWB.

Self-service only. I got the Becker Grand Prix and rare optional Becker remote cassette deck. Yippee!

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R

Yeah, I'm half thinking of going back and salvaging all of the red plastic parts. But I wanted to give the forum members the chance to fix their own project cars first....

Lets hope some dolt doesn't fudge the interior up in the meantime. If you have the means, you should snag it.

Great find again, Scott! If you don't mind posting a pic of that rare Becker Cassette with remote you got from the unit. Hehehe!

I now possess 99% of the red interior of a LWB 116 except no leather, no carpet. But every red piece of plastic, vinyl, door panel, etc I have. (except for two tiny parts that I haven't figured out how to get).
