Question 67 250s Front Brake Calipers

Spent a little time trying to fit some calipers to the front today and no luck.
I picked up a set of re-manufactured cardone calipers, and when installed the disc rubs on the caliper. any body gone down this road. I have yet to speak with cardone. I thought about machining them to fit but it would be better if I could get a set that fit.I am using cardone part # 19-271 and 19-272. It is obvious I have picked up a different casting from what I pulled off the vehicle.
any advice would help as I gather momentum and parts for next weekend.

I got my calipers at O'riely's, I think around $60. They are rebuilt A.T.E.'s, no problems yet and they fit the rotors with no modifications. The nice thing about buying from a local parts store is that if you get the wrong part you don't have to ship it back.

After doing some research I have found that only one of the calipers does not fit. I think cardone used a bracket from a different ate part number. I will return it and hope they get it right. I picked them up at O'riely's. The guy at the counter was sure that I had the right part, we double checked the cardone part numbers, and with that. I started to think that someone had Frankensteined a brake system from a different model onto my front end. Luckily that's not the case and I should have the correct part by next weekend

Cardone re-manufactured caliper with wrong bracket.

Original Caliper

Subtle differences lead to a part that wont fit

Cheers
Dave
