issues finding a part for a 1971 280s

i was working on my 1971 mercedes 280s and was having trouble taking off the passenger side caliper so my father inlaw pried it off and broke a part that for the the life of me no one can help me find. it looks like it could be the brake line or a part of it. it screws into the caliper, on one side of it it has F A G, another part has a 4 and another has A0495 on it. please can anyone help me!?

Ooh, yeah you may need to find a w108 at a local pick and pull. Or hit up your dealer, they may not try to rob you. Since that is not a part that is supposed to wear out no one really stocks it.

That brake line screws on the back of the kingpin and splash shield and into the brake caliper. The same part is used on the W108, W109, W110, W111, W112 and W113.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant

those parts always break when mechanics pull the caliper without undoing those two hex screws holding the cast piece to the spindle.

Try pricing one from MBZ.. I keep spares around just in case.

Pull the part clean it and silver solder the crack.
