On mine the hazards work normally but turn signals don't, the stick doesn't stay in the position and if I move it the lights keep on without flicker

Check the fuses first. The relay is above the driver's left knee under the dash. If it has been sitting that long every fuse in the fusebox should be replaced.

It may be the hazard switch itself that has failed. When it goes you lose hazards and turn signals.

up under your dash , sitting horizontally on a little bracket is a black rectangular box with a 4(or 5, cant recall) pin plug, its the flasher relay, take it out and take the cover off. often cold solder joints break and these don't work. can be repaired or you can buy new.

But first, as previously suggested clean fuses and box (take the battery out and dremel/wirebrush) and then check the hazard button for operation and corrosion on the plug . also check all the lamps . when the lamps get old the plaster inside turns to powder and the bulb twists in the socket, causing the bulb to fail. good luck!

You might want to migrate over to the 107 forum here. R/C107 SL/SLC Class - - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum Very active, with a lot of info. Read the sticky called Encyclopedia Germanica v107 to start with.

The flasher module can be a pain to get to. i had to take the instrument cluster out to get to mine for the same problem. As was mentioned above, check the fuses. Aluminum fuse, brass holder can lead to dissimilar metal corrosion. Remove one at a time and clean ends with coarse cloth like denim or canvas. Coat ends with a thin film of dielectric grease replace.

Remember: It's not just a car. It's an Adventure.
