Something is wrong

I would suggest in removing the power steering pump.
Inspect the mounting brackets and belt tensioner bolt.
Remove the pulley with the proper tool and inspect the shaft.
The belt alignment needs to be straight and true.
Something must be misaligned?

I have a related problem. My pump leaks in my 68 280S. To remove the pump, you need to first remove the pulley. (bolts securing the pump can be removed only with pulley removed first) To remove the pulley, you need a special tool and you need to remove the radiator first.

Where do I get the special tool ??????
