Arrow Front Seat Frustrations........

1970 280S with the height adjustable driver's seat. How does one expose the front 2 mounting bolts so as to get them to screw in?? I have the back 2 in but can't seem to adjust the seat in such a way as to expose the tops of the front 2 bolts. Any hints??

Yeah - using a cutting tool, such as a Makita, cut the bracket such that the holes are half circles. I took my 108's seats out to redo the interior and had one hell of a time getting them back in. After I cinched the bolts down with a decent sized washer, the things never became unfastened again. Saved me a fortune on migrane meds too

What a challenge, especially for just one person, but I finally got it and didn't even break anything.
