W108 Window Wiring Diagram

1970 280SE -
The left rear window had no power getting to it. All the other windows work. I have a Haynes Manual 63020. It has 5 pages of wiring diagrams, but the wiring for power windows is missing. What am I missing here? Where can I find a wiring diagram for the windows?

I stand to be corrected but "I" think power windows and even air conditions, on certain cars, were dealer option. Meaning they did not come from the factory but were impregnated local at the dealership thus not included in the wiring diagram.

Good luck.

W108/109 came with factory power windows in america. I believe this is the correct wiring diagram for your car.

I was able to find the problem from the wiring diagram, thanks again. Someone had moved the terminal from the front switch to a blank opening in the switch housing (weird). My guess is the the window was not rolling up right and they disabled it by moving the hot terminal. It turns out the regulator was dry and crusted over with old greese. Removed the regulator, cleaned and relubed everything with white lithium greese. Works great now. I worked on a lot of cars in my day. The Merc is probably the best engineered one yet.
