1963 190C horn

I am trying to get the horn working. I hot wired to the horn, which did not work, so I bought a generic horn. Still not working, so I am now looking for a horn relay that supposedly exists. Anyone know where the horn relay is and what it looks like? I bought a replacement from the local NAPA store, but I don't see anything that resembles it either in the engine compartment or under the dash. I have tried tracing the wires from the horn to the fuse box as well as from the steering column out. Still no luck...

There is no relay. Check the horn power connections.

Remove the turn signal rubber cover and you will see two wires attached by screws. They go to the contacts under the steering wheel. Check all connections.

If necessary, take the steering wheel off and check there too.
