How To Access Value

This is on a different bent from my more normal "stuffing improper powerplants in a W108" schemes

I've been searching to replace my 1973 BMW Bavaria that I seriously miss.

So I ran across an ad for a 1970 Mercedes 250S locally and I will be looking at it tonight.

My question is how do I come up with a dollar value of a fair offer?

These are the pictures that I have.

I don't really care for the headlights and would really prefer a fintail but I don't want that to be what I use for valuation.

Thanks.

Try NADA.com as a start. It'll offer a beginning value, or at least give you an idea what others have been paying.

I went ahead and just bought it.

Just drove it home, definitely needs sorting out in the carb section but a good project.

Listed my 67 for sale so I can have room to work on this one.

That's not a 250S which is a W108.

It's a W114, or is it W115, a 250/8.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant
