After 1.5 months of ownership, I felt it necessary to bring it to a local Mercedes mechanic to have it driven and thrown on the lift for review (for my confidence).
The mechanic called me up to have a look at her. I was nervous seeing my car for the first time on the lift; i crawled under the car when i first bought her with a flashlight, but seeing the car on a lift is much different, as most of you know. Luckily, what I saw actually was much better than anticipated.
The mechanic found a leak at the front crank, a leaking steering damper, a few worn belts, and worn rear trailing arm bushings, all of which I had him replace and/or repair. His test drive after the work found the car pulled under heavy braking not because of a caliper or pad issue, but due to a clogged and worn hose feeding the right front brakes, which was an easy fix.
Now I got her back and can't wait for a long weekend drive.
