170SV motor rebuild

hello all

I work at a machine shop that's been tasked with rebuilding a 1953 190SV flathead motor. We've never touched a flathead MB before (we try to avoid flatheads in general) so we're looking for shop manuals.

I did a search a while back and the only site I could find was books4cars.com. A quick search on here mentions them quite a bit, but I'd like to hear some first-hand opinions of the place. Want to make sure it's going to be worth the $150 asking price

The thread is a year old so maybe the links are dead now, they don't work for me either. Try going to the main site however, and scroll down to the "reference material -> Technical References" section and search there for what you need or search the main forum sections for what you need. Good luck! 170/220 Forum
