1976 280 Sedan... (quick question for ya)
I have a 1976 280 sedan 6 cyl with the single Solexcarb..I use this 280 as my everyday vehicle. I have been very fortunate and have not experienced any big issues....I was wondering if someone could possibly diagnose or share some knowledge on a cold start problem I often experience.???
The car startson the second or third crank sequence. At that point it slowly warms itself. After a few minutes i'll drive away and the car will almost stall...sputter a bit.. then pick up...Stop sign stutters, almost will not move with accelerator pressed lightly..(if you press the accelerator too hard or quickly the car will sputter and die..)
Afte about 10 minutes of driving, she runs pretty well.No more stalling..This only happens after sitting and becoming cold... (like over night).Could this be timing issues? Do I need new plugs n wires?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
Thank you in advance
