Hi, I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I run a automobile repair workshop in Bombay, India and we also do a lot of restoration work on Vintage and Classic cars. A 1924 ( so the papers say) Mercedes, 6 cylinder has come to our workshop for restoration with Engine No: M-40815 and Chassis No: 61073444.
The car looks in all respects like a Nurburg but seems to early to be one. It has a centre partition and 2 extra jump seats at the rear making it a 7 seater Landaulet. The rear of the roof top goes down like a convertible leaving the very large rear seat open to the sky.
The registration book also has ORM 380 written under 'New Vehicle' and in a random other place.
Can anybody tell me what would be the designated name for this model? I have attached a picture hoping it will help.
Look forward to hearing from the forum.
