transmission leak on a 1975 300D

Hello,

I have had fluid leaking from what appears to be the rod/seal area that is attached to the kickdown switch? (passenger side of tranny).

How would one go about changing the seals for this? Would the transmission have to be torn apart or is it changed from the outside in?

Thanks for your help!!

While your car is 'vintage', you would be better off checking the W123 forum farther down the list. I don't know the answer, btw.

How did NS fare with the Hurricane?

I'm not exactly sure where the transmission leaks from your description. A picture might be helpful.

The kickdown solenoid can be removed without taking apart the transmission.

Oh sorry, there is no W114/W115 forum yet.
