72 350sl Fuel Injections Issue

Hello all and thank you in advance for any light that may be shed.

I have scoured this site looking for a solution to the following issue.

I have signal to the injectors on number 1&5 and 4&8 but not to the rest of the injectors. I have reviewed the electrical drawings and see that the ones that work go to the same wires and the ones with out signal do the same.

I have replace all fuel lines filter, my fuel pump is working and the car will drive but has little power (4 cylinder and all). Alos new coil, wires plugs etc.

Can anyone tell me if their is a seperate relay of something that would seperate the injectors or do they go direct to the ECU? I have delt with alot of german automation equipement and they all seem to have safety backups and this reminds me of that.

Lost 4 but 4 live....help

Trigger points (pulse generators) under the main ignition points of the distributor body. Pull, clean, replace, test. 110deg opening duration.

Better yet pull distributor and detail clean the entire advance mechanism and set ign points to .014" New points of course.

In addition, you might want to slide over to the 107 forum here:

R/C107 SL/SLC Class - Benzworld.org - Mercedes-Benz Discussion Forum

A lot of people with a lot of info on the '72 to '89 SL's.

Read the Encyclopedia Germanica Volume 107 sticky at the top. A lot of answers there.
