replaced trans mount and flex disc and now car shakes while taking off.

I recently replaced both trans mount and flex disc in one go on my W111 Coupe. since then there is a slight shake when I take off from a stop. I wonder if the culprit is th trans mount or the flex disc. I got both from Autohaus AZ and I guess they are aftermarket parts. The trans mount is common to number of models, including W108 4.5, r107, W126 etc.

If anybody got the same experience and could tell me which of the two is creating the problem would be useful.

Thanks!

There's a bushing in the back of the driveshaft too, where it meets the rear end (if memory serves). Was that replaced?

No bushing on my car there, just the u-joint that bolts directly to the diff input flange. Problem appeared immediately after replacing trans mount and flex disc, so it must be one of the two. I initially thought it was the flexdisc but now I'm wondering about the trans mount. The shake is a bit as if the trans was moving left and right and there is a sound of distorte rubber when this happens.

maybe you forgot this

after reinstalling the driveshaft but before tightening the bolts for the center bearing mount and the two large nuts on the driveshaft, you should roll the car back and forth several feet. then torque these items to spec.

if you missed this step the vibration/shudder you are experiencing may be from locking the parts in place before they've had a chance to find their 'comfort zone'.
