Remove under dash panel, reach up and push it out.

I no longer own my 300d, but I went thru a lot of trouble to fabricate these only to find out that the cluster had been removed by previous owners so many times it was not in there very tight and a putty knife and my hands where enough to get it out. Worth a try anyways.

Good luck!

Getting it out is no problem. It can be worked out of the dash gently as described. It is not always easy to get back in. You have to be careful not to crack the face. Old plastic is VERY brittle from heat over the years.
