Clearing bare metal

I did consider it! It has had a few repairs over time though, and it looks a bit yucky in places...

Today's Efforts

Had a big day today, spent nearly 9 hours on my girl. Got a fair bit done though:
I've stripped the interior, only left the essentials in so I can drive her up the road to the booth.

Here's me stripping the boot

And here's what I found...

Update

So... I just finished a mini makeover on my horn pad. I've re-covered it in chocolate brown suede, striped and repainted the back of the Mercedes emblem in the centre and polished all the chrome. It has come up a treat!

Tomorrow I'm going to re-cover the dash with the same chocolate suede, as well as the B pillars and parcel shelf. I've also decided to do the roof lining in the same, with red leather seats and door skins, and a delicious chocolatey brown carpet!

I'll posts some pics tomorrow so stayed tuned
