Help with Duraterm glow plug update 1974 240D

I am installing the Duraterm glow plug update for a 4 cylinder 240D. I was wonder what amp fuse to run from 8 on the glow time controller. I have a 30amp fuse and when I pull the lever to start the glow plug heatup, the glow plug lamp indicator will light for about 2 seconds and then the 30 amp fuse blows. I have a 50amp fuse from 9 to the first glow plug. Do I need a 50 for terminal 8 to the pos on the battery.

does anyone know the answer to what amp fuse.

Those glow plugs are not standard on MB. Kit comes with absolutely idiotic instructions and no technical data.

Find out what single glow plug draws and multiply x4. I would say ~80A slow blow. Fuse needs to be as close to battery as possible.
