114 230.6 TUNING

Hi All

I wonder.....can anyone show details for tuning a 230.6 w114 with a 180.954 motor

Looking for valve clearances, points gap, dwell, idle co%, plug gap etc.

I've just checked the valve clearances, and they didn't exist basically! So it now has a 'gap' to start with, but any help would be appreciated

My own opinion is a valve has burnt, poss exhaust as it spits in the ex manifold and has a non electrical misfire it seems, as if plug caps are pulled while running, they all make a difference, comp was down by 50psi on two cyls, and like I say, no feeler at all would go in most of them when checked, 2thou in a few of them only.

At least it runs, which it wouldn't do before :-)
