I started writing a Mercedes related blog last year. I didn't know if anybody was really reading it until my phone started to ring, people with random questions... and very often asking about how to sell their car (old cars), how much they should ask for it, etc.
As a result, I recently put together a classifieds site called The Uncommon Garage
with the hope that it will provide a place for Mercedes enthusiasts to list their cars for sale. It's free to list them, I get nothing... although I do offer other services... but please know... you can list there for free, I get nothing.
I'm in a couple of car clubs, people are always looking for an enthusiast site to list their cars on. It's not JUST Mercedes, but based on what I'm into and what I blog about / the people I know... most listings end up being Benzes.
I literally just started it, but already have some cars on there... priced from about $800 for an old diesel to $40k+ for a cherry 280SL Pagoda.
All of that said... a couple pictures and an aggressive price in the For Sale section of benzworld.org is a sure way to sell your car to a true enthusiast, and fast. I mean talk about preaching to the choir... THIS is the choir!
