Merc is back home. Here are some pics. Standard alternator is struggling with 2 x 30A compressors in the boot so its getting upgraded on Tuesday. Alot of PSI is required for the front bags so the 5 gallon tank doesnt do too many movements before it has to refill. Im about to read the accuair manual so I know how to do it all. Sometimes at lights it likes to readjust and im just sitting there going wtf lol.

looks real nice and clean.... I would think after a while you wont make too many adjustments in a row....raise it up a little, drive it, lower it more for slow cruising and parking.... so maybe the tank size wont be an issue...

don't mean to be nosy, but you in for a few g's on this in the end?

great job, admire the commitment to getting it done

The Acuair kit was $4,000 - I couldve went cheaper on that but I did upgrade to a 200psi system with touchpad and twin pumps.

Engineers certificate is $800 which still needs to be done.

Was $500 for new rear shocks and the reloaction kit - normally they are in the centre of the springs but had to be moved.

Reshaping the front sway bar so it wouldnt rub and new brackets set me back about $300.

All up with labour it came to a total of around $7500. A fair bit I know but I now have a pretty unique ride. Its not like its money wasted coz I dont plan on selling my merc. Its only my weekend car so I drive it maybe once a week. Should last me a few years to come.

I have one last mod I really wanna do to the car which should cost $2000-3000 but that one will be a surprise. Will probably not happen for a few months as I need to come up with some cash and also am not having any luck finding a shop that does it here in Sydney.

Anyways off to pick up my new number plates today.

That looks crazy, one of the nicest slammed vintage Benz around. Bundts look OK on there but there are some nice looking 17" OEM Benz wheels that would be perfect, too. What's the surprise, panoroof, chop top, suicide doors? Later.

Number plate and Left mirror put on today. My car no longer feels lob sided with only a RH mirror.

Need everyones advice too. Thinking about tinting the windows. At the moment they are just clear. Was either gunna do super dark black or chrome tints. I dunno if itll look any good tho. I like it now how you can see the interior.

As for wheels I put the bundts on there to be period and i like my white walls. Was gunna go for an 18inch 100spoke wire wheels but am sord of glad I didnt.

Maybe when I get bored with the look ill go up to a 17 or 18 merc wheel. Chrome dipped ofcourse
