Fintail power steering problem

I have a '66 230s fintail power steering works fine in one direction and no assistance other direction also throws out the p/s fluid when turning in the non assisted side. Seems like a valve blocked? Anyone familiar with these? Car has been in storage.

If you had to add PS fluid, you need to bleed it, which will take a couple or people. Look at the top of the steering gear and you will see what looks like a brake bleed screw. Get a stiff piece of plastic tubing and route it from the bleed screw to the reservoir. Start the car, add fluid, move the steering wheel from side to side and open the bleed screw. The air will be ejected and when there is no more air, close the bleed screw. Check for leaks. (actually, check for leaks first and fix any first).

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant

Had a similar problem with mine:

Bled it and it works great still, never looked for a leak, but I imagine the guy before me was changing all the fluids (which is a good thing) and didn't know there was a bleeder.
