OM621 190D transmission compatibility

I have a Om621 190D engine sitting on an engine stand purring like a kitten. It is going in a project I'm making. Currently its mounted to the original manual trans. My question is, does anyone know if any other years of automatic transmissions would bolt up without huge issues. I know the under powered diesel engine will be worse, but this is a unique thing where power is not of importance, just no shifting. thanks

So I've been told to look for a 722.4XX trans which appear to be from 80-90's diesels. So is my 1959 190D engine the same as the later years 190D's. I'm sure theres something different but why share the same model number? Anyone ever actually see a 722.4xx on an older MB diesel. Would like to be 100% positive before I spend money. Thanks

Are you referring to the W110 chassis or W201?

Actually it was from a W121 chassis. Not going in there though.

Slushboxes of OM621 and OM601(W201 diesels) engines are very much different because of starter location.
