The Quest Continues

so i have done some looking for that window regulator for my 1976 300d front driver side window and came up with this part number
#109 720 12 46
the second part of my search for a vendor led me to this link from pelican parts
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 109-720-12-46-M22
their model numbers match up as well as the location on the car BUT they add an M22 to the end of the part and say it is for a 280se which i believe is the w116 body style. does anyone know if they happen to be the same part or does the m22 spoil the whole thing?

your help and knowledge is always great,
zach

That part number is for a late 60's early 70's sedan. Yours is for a W123. Please post the chassis prefix, in the form 123.nnn. Then I will look it up on the EPC and tell you the correct part number. Sometimes older part numbers are superseded by new part numbers and sometimes older part numbers are used on later cars. Why mess with success.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant

MB describes parts as left/right not driver/passenger. There are parts of the world where they drive on the wrong side.

For your 115.114 you need 109 720 11 46.

so just to make absolutely sure since paying $280 for the wong part is a bumber, the 109 720 11 46 part (left front window regulator) works for the power windows on a 1976 300D with the w114.115 body style or chassis?

Nothing is for sure. Car of this age may have junkyard door. Take regulator out, prop window with 2x4. Compare it to picture in Pelican. You will be looking at mirror image.
