'78 280CE - need factory service manual

Hello guys,

I am looking for the 280ce factory manual. Where can I get this from? How much better than a Haynes?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks, which one would you recommend? I'm looking at the M110 engine manual, appears to be a Mercedes publication?

Also, what are the forum's thoughts on manuals on CD as available on eBay and elsewhere vis-a-vis completenes, quality, etc.?

You can have a look at the Factory Service Manual on this page:

Model 123 Maintenance Manual Index

And you can buy the Manual straight from MB-USA, much better than dubious ebay copies:

Classic Technical Literature

There are some more manuals for the gas models available, each one has its merits, in my experience the FSM is quite comprehensive.

Thanks, the link is great. I think I'm going to get the official MB one, only $40 or so!
