Funny story

Hey friends and foes! How ya'll been?? Getting ready for winter? Anyway, so I blew out a front left tire on my way home a few weeks back in my 1972 280 SE 4.5 (most of you prob kno about), and I immediately went into the other lane but luckily nobody was coming. . .
I hit the ditch pretty hard and slightly popped out the left fender and was really upset!!! I call a tow company and was ready to hav it towed two days later and the tow truck guy lowers the ramp and I am about to put it into neutral when the guy gets out of his tow truck and leaves it in REVERSE... WHAMMY smashes the hell out of the whole front clip. . severely damaging the grill, both fenders, hood, headlights, Oh, and it was still in park so he prob broke the parking pin cause I flew back like fifteen feet! SOOO..... yeah currently talking with insurance companies now. . they actually made an estimate at the rating of $2900 and I laughed and said dig a little deeper... probably going to total it out..

LOL

I was just reading the post I apologize for your misforunes the MrBenz1 and uflei is clearly a noveau riche new model daimler benz owner he doesn't understand the quality of a last generation hand built W108. I myself consider myself to be a connoisseur of classics as I cherish every moment i get spend with my 1972 280 SEL 4.5L which was number 12 off the assembly line. THat's a real car. also a side note you should seek an appraisal and classic insurance in future it's cheaper per month and they pay out appraised value vs book and perhaps sue the towing company for any further repairs they F***ed up they should be paying

Many companies build cars...But only one company built THE CAR, with 125 years of tradition and innovation only one name started it all...Mercedes Benz

For a diesel? I'd give $100 and then give it away as a goodwill gesture. I'm not a fan of diesels (remember? I'm always getting in trouble for making fun of the things).

I think you should hang on to your $$ and pay your tuition or something. That, or I'd be willing to sell you a Fiat. Opening price is $5935
