Advice for a big cutting job. Australia

Hi gang.

I'm about to do some serious front end surgery on my 280E. I was given the car earlier this year and have spent most of my time trying to remove the MUDGUARD on the drivers side. I was wondering if anyone has ever chopped up a w123 before?

I am confident in the skills of the person working on the project, just wondering if anyone out there in Benzland has any horror stories they would like to share.

Also, if any Australian, N.S.W owners specifically would able to offer advice on where to find some coveted bits and bobs.

w123 280E 1977.
