dashboard clock

I need some help.
The clock on my W111 coupe is running slow.
Does anybody know how to adjust it? I am guessing it would need to be pulled out of the dashboard. In that case, how is it done in order not to damage the surrounding wood?
Thanks in advance for your responses.
