Post I need help with my clutch 1967 230s

I was having problem with the clutch padel not returning at times, then at times it will fall down to the floor, then I use my foot to bring it back, and somtimes after driving for period of time the speed of the engine does not catch up with the movement of the car. After it sits for a while ,it starts to drive normal ontill a while then it begins to do the samething again.I change the master and slave cylinder and the hose but stll doing the same. does anybody have an idea about the isue. Thanks

The clutch hydraulics need to be bled. It needs to be bled from the slave cyl up. either using the front left caliper or using a power bleeder.

A power bleeder is an air pressure operated bleeded that has a tank and a hose that screws onto the brake reservoir. The tank is pressurized and the brake caliper bleed screws are opened to allow the brake fluid to flow and remove any air.

The front left caliper is used to send brake fluid from the caliper bleed screw to the clutch slave cylinder bleed screw, up to the clutch mater cylinder and up to the clutch reservoir. You can do it manually by pumping the brake pedal and openeing a closing the slave cylinder bleed scred, but that's a PITA because it requires two people.

You will also need about 6 feet of clear hose.
