Trying to identify W108 Driving Light replacement bulb

I can't seem to find any reference to this particular bulb. It is of the driving lights off my 1972 280 SEL 4.5. There are no reference numbers on either (bad) bulb and I can't seem to find any mention of them anywhere. The local parts store saw me walk in with one and were shaking their head no before I even got to the counter, haha. Any information as to where I can source these buggers would be greatly appreciated.

Try an 1156 bulb and go from there.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant

Thanks for the info. I was actually able to find an exact replacement. The replacement bulb was an Italian made 35w, 12v "Osram 7309". I was able to get a pair of them from my mechanic for $26! (they are $22/ea at donsbulbs)
