Well, there was a total of 363k 108's dating back from 1965 - 1972. So, your analysis on large numbers seem to work out. But, if you look at the 4.5's, their were fewer number of these cars made, yet, the value for these car's still seem to remain sluggish.

Yeah I am very interesed to know why these 108's are so cheap. I am trying to sell my 108 and I know that it is one of the best 108's to be out there at this time. I want ppl to know that this model that I hav is seriously in good condition just the two minor surface rust spots... who wants this for $4,000? I'm getting desperate because I support myself and in this economy its a tough thing to do, ecpecially when your a student athlete at a private school in KS. Please if anyone is looking for a SOLID 108, hit me up i dont bullshit... peace...

Ufflea- Why don't YOU understand that ppl are willing to pay a pretty good amount of money for a well kept 108 with low mileage, including a papertrail of proof. . Also, you seem to be jealous, and I'm not sure why, its a beautiful vehicle. I think your a retard. I'll keep in touch. BTW- TKO 44 seconds last friday
I would love to be your friend. Your stupidity is relentless! Time shall tell.

Everything underneath the hood is pretty much brand new, plus I hav the receipts to prove just that. Dude, if this were a parts car, I wouldnt have never bought the damn thing. Does that make sense? I mean, why would I buy something to put myself in the hole? Yes, I did spend a little more than I had wanted to in order to get her goin', but she hauls asss now!

I understand how much people are willing to pay, that is why you try to sell that turd since almost a year now, just a week ago you thought it's worth $9000.00 LOL
What paper trail you have, receipts from the previous owner with service records from Mercedes.
TKO 44 Sec,sorry I hope you are complete recovering soon, but some damages might be ,like I noticed, are already done from previously bouts.

Simple... because you were ignorant about these cars & ignorant of the market for them. Dreaming you could ask $9K proves it, because it insults others intelligence. Here's a MUCH more desirable & potentially collectible car - worthy of investment: 1966 Mercedes 250SE - $7495 . If you get anything over $2K for yours, consider yourself fortunate. Hopefully experience cures ignorance.
