w114 280e engine stalling

Hi guys need some help. My 1972 280e is sick. A week or so ago it started to have a ruff idle. First i have to tap the accelerator otherwise she won't start. Once you first fire it up its fine(thought will stall after a little while) but once its put in drive(automatic) if i leave it sit with my foot on the brake it'll stall. Once you start driving it'll hesitate under acceleration like a stumbling toddler. The engine is an Australian spec M110 engine with D-jet system.

I don't know if its related but if i wind down one of the power window the revs drop and stall the engine.

Possibly a bad ignition coil or bad primary supply wire to the coil.

Bosch original equipment is the way to go. You can go to Autohaus az & put in year & model to get the correct coil but why not try replacing the power supply wire first? much less expensive & probably still available from a dealer or Autohaus. Don
