Need help with Zenith carb parts

Working on my 66 250S. Car would start run pretty good for a few minutes then stall, once the car got up to about 60C it would die... thought it might be vapor-locking so I insulated the fuel line from the pump to the primary carb. That didn't help. I looked into the carb while the car was running and while operating the throttle noticed that it wasn't spraying fuel. Secondary carb was good. I took the "bad" carb off the car and began disassembling. Looks like a previous mechanic tried fixing the carb and really messed it up. Looks like the top plate was pried off the lower and bent pretty badly... OK, so, I need help sourcing parts and other than spending some pretty heavy money on a Webber conversion, what are my options?
Thanks!

One of mine had a cracked bowl, I ended up looking through junkyards until I found one that had a 220 with my carbs (Zenith 35/40 INAT, good to know what they are since your looking for them) about 80 miles from my house that had one and bought it off the guy there for $50, but I still have the same problem as you... starts in two cranks with pedal pumping and stalls when warm...

These carbs were used in a few of cars in that era and shouldn't be too hard to find, Just check your local junkyards for 60s or 70s mercedes and bmws.

Thanks for the info tgikal. I was wondering what other models/manufacturers had the same carb. I really don't want to shell out the $$$ for a webber conversion, but I hate not being able to drive it... Hopefully someone around here will have one.

In almost all the 60s- early 70s they used fuel injection, diesel, solex carbs, and zenith carbs. They all look very different, if you seen a zenith 35/40 and then the solex they also used they're like night and day from each other. But the junkyards will probably not know or care, so I'd just call and ask if they have any 60s Mercedes. I called probably 40 something junkyards around my house and 3 said they did, but this is Michigan.
