w108's Rule

I love w108's I have a 67 250se. I got the car for $500 and it was in near perfect condition. That was only a few months ago and I'm already upside down in it. But the car is so sexy I can't help it. so I know how u feel. people are amazed when I tell them my car is only worth 4,000-5,000. Keep up the good work.

Hello there

Just a minor thing. On your blog you show a button you say is for a sunroof. On mine this is actually wired into the back interior light..

I don't know if you or I are right, just thought I'd mention it...

I did say it's a minor thing!

So glad to see others that are enthused with this car.

When I remarried, my new father-in-law had mentioned parking his '68 W108 at our home and having me drive it. His ankles can no longer take the abuse of constant shifting and such, and he knows I love and respect older vehicles (I've had a few).

Knowing how I love older vehicles, everyone jokingly calls this car the dowry.

I'll post pics soon. So glad to have found this site.

I looked at your blog and noticed your gearshift lever is mounted backwards. It should curve forward. Keep up the good work.

Not part of the in-crowd since 1952. It's BRAKES not breaks. You break a bone, use brakes to stop your car. /rant

It's amazing what you did with that car, gbarce. I have to admit with the right people around you, Manila is a great place to restore your car, but you have to stay on top of things. I had my 300d Adenauer Cabriolet restored in Manila a few years back.
