Rust, especially in the hood hinge pockets, battery tray area, along the rear window and in the rear floorboards.
If it has the U.S. style of heater controls (ACC or as I call it, "Aggravating Cash Consumer") then make sure it works. Check the water servo in the engine compartment for operation and any evidence of leakage.
The glass for the "C" model is PRICEY! Cracked windshields can be a deal killer. If the rubber is bad around the windscreens it needs to be replaced pronto! Figure on about $600 for parts and labor. More if there is rust under the gaskets.
Fuel injection system can be problematic. Great system unless it's been neglected. Can be VERY costly to bring back to snuff.
Cruise control amps are usually flaky but a fairly inexpensive fix.
Rubber mounts are usually dried out (engine mounts, rear suspension mounts, flex disks, etc.) and hard. Normal maintenance items affected by time so mileage don't mean squat regarding them.
