Good idea, thats very possible too. Well good luck, keep us posted.
So today i tried bleeding the fuel injectors -they have lovely diesel pouring from them. no problems there.. The filter primes right up with not even an air bubble but swapped it out for a new one anyway.. I checked the air filter and it seems clean enough. fuel guage reads 3/4 full. the fuel in the new filter looks quite clean actually.
i noticed smoke coming from the crank case when i had the oil cap off after a few start up attempts? She sounds like she wants to start, but just cant quite get there. i give the starter a few knocks to maybe loosen it up ( i know its not like knocking a sticking solenoid) but hey thought what could i loose??
i hooked up my heavy gauge jumper cables and tried turning her there once every 8- 10 minutes or so for a good hour, thought maybe it would take a bit of time to get the oil round the engine and build some compression.. ( as i read in another thread)...
anyone get any words of inspiration to my dwindling morale ?
the neighbors walk their dogs past me and offer words of support like "cant wait to you get it started" and stuff but its looking bleak now..
shall i just fit a new starter? is that a big huge job? i live at the top of a big hill, shall roll the car and jump it to establish the engine is good...?
