1970 distributor help - the pin snapped!

Hi all !
I have recently acquired a 1970 280 sel. 6cylinder with dual zenith carbs- while changing the points , the brass pin snapped( had to have been cracked to start) any suggestions on what to do to repair the pin? Bosch dist #ujur6br47t-

From what I have been able to read , this is not the correct engine set up and it appears to be a 1969 engine from a 280S

any thoughts? would prefer to keep the points setup rather than electronic conversion

Is the broken pin the pivot of the points?
Put a Crane system in
Or get another distributor
There is a bosch distributor rebuild expert out there somewhere
Rebuilt Bosch 383 / VJ4BR25 / 010 / VJ4BR8 / 019 / VJR4BR18 / 022 / VJU4BR8 / "Big Cap" 40hp Distributors
