suspension interchange 108/109

Can I swap the air suspension over to a 108 from a 109 and vise versa?

Performance parts for w126, r/c107, w201, m117, m119, m102, m104 and few other things.

Reproduction 17" Penta wheels coming soon.

109 to 108 is fairly common. I've never heard of anyone wanting to go the other direction.

i have a 108 I want to build as a "hot rod" and run air bags. going to drop the MB valves and just use the bags and pump with aftermarket valves and ride height controller..

The 109 is going to be turned into a lemons racer with a manual, so springs are better than bags. Should be painfully expensive, but what the hay.

Don't do it man....Why would you want to that...You are talking loads of money and no reliability....I have a 109 car trust me....I am lucky mine is mint, but still.... Why not go with a regular modern air ride system...I will be doing that with my w111 coupe...for a around $1500 you can have the nicest, most modern, digitally controlled air ride...set of new air belows from a 109 car will run 1000, plus another 2,500 grand for good vales (2 front 1 rear), 800-1000 for a main valve, air tank, and compressor plus bracket plus constant maintenance....

DON'T DO IT...wait till I get mine done and you can judge later... Cheers

i was pretty much only going to keep the bags and compressor, there rest i was going to go aftermarket. Goal for this car is to just it running, scraping the pan, then sell it after 6 month to some Scene wannabe kids who wants to be old skool. Selling this one if going to make way for a 300 coupe.
